Ana's November 9th Quilt

Based on the events of November 8th, 2016, Ana decided to make a quilt to reflect her feelings of everything that was happening. In light of that, I added some "angry quilting" patches to the design. The majority of the thread is a dark gray, with an accent of a bright green thread in certain areas. I love how it turned out!

Laura's Nine Patch

This is Laura's quilt and I used an all over pattern that alternated between serpentine lines and wishbones. I love this design! It's so versatile!

Truda's Chic Diamonds Quilt

This is Truda's "derivative" of the Chic Diamond's quilt pattern by Sew Kind of Wonderful. I used an all over design of a wavy checkerboard to accent the curves of the piecing. I think it really works!

Betty's Pony Piccadilly Circus quilt!

This adorable quilt made by Betty received an all over pattern that alternated between serpentine lines and wishbones.  I think it added a great new dimension to the overall look of the quilt!

Marilyn's Garment Bag Fabric

This piece is going to be turned into a garment bag by the talented Marilyn, who also pieced the top.  I thought silver metallic thread would add just the right amount of pop!  An allover loopy pattern was used.  This will turn into a great end piece!

Betty's Baby Quilt

Another lucky little baby will be getting this quilt soon!  Top pieced by Betty.  I quilted a wavy ribbon candy all over pattern, inspired by a design I saw in Angela Walters' Shape by Shape book.  I think it turned out great!  The quilt even has a pieced back with the baby's name.  It's cute!

Betty's Moda Modern Blocks Quilt

This quilt was pieced by Betty and is the Moda Modern Building Blocks pattern.  In order to keep the quilt light, since it will be used as a summer quilt, I decided on a larger scale all over pattern that has great movement.  It's a square of wavy lines that's rotated 90 degrees every other block which creates a neat checkerboard effect.

Truda's Improve HST Quilt

This quilt has several different modern elements to it so I decided to make the quilting very modern with a new twist on straight line quilting.  I used an organic cross hatch pattern with randomly spaced straight and wavy lines.  I love the texture that it created in this quilt, its so crinkly!!

Alice's Batik Quilt

This quilt made by Alice got an all over meandering feather.  I love this all over, it's elegant but fun with the swirls and large plumes.  This was a big quilt!  Measured in at 96" x 106".  Here are some pictures!
