Skinny Mini Quilt Swap Quilt!

Here is the skinny mini quilt that I made using the "Two Stars Squared" paper piecing.  My partner loved aqua, teal, pink, and blue, so I did the stars in those colors using solids I had and mixed in a few Blueberry Park fabrics.  The binding is scrappy with a few of the same colors in the stars.  I love the look of linen and put it in a lot of quilts that I make that I know won't be used as a blanket and hung instead.  It given such a great texture to an otherwise monotone texture of typical quilting fabric.  Also used metallic gold thread to give it a little more sparkle.  Wool and 70/30 blend cotton battings were used.  I hope my partner loves it :)

Marilyn's White Blocks with Gold Accents

This quilt has an elegant feel to it, so I used an all over feather motif that fit with the vibe.  It's a classic design with a modern flare and can fit with many different quilts, especially this one! :)

Marilyn's Tree Skirt

This was such a fun one to quilt!  It's simple designs, but when you put them together, you get something great.  This will be used in Marilyn's lake house and it will fit right in!

Jessica's Gypsy Wife Quilt

This lovely quilt is by Jessica and is a Gypsy Wife Quilt.  I did a custom job for this and used different motifs for nearly all of the individual blocks.  I love how it turned out.

Joy's Next Door Neighbor Quilt

This Next Door Neighbor Quilt variation by Joy got an all over geometric square pattern that I think was a fantastic choice.  This quilting pattern is great and will go with so many different quilts, extremely versatile!

Marilyn's Strip Batik and Applique Circle Quilt

This is Marilyn's quilt where I used her piecing as a guide and picked six different quilting motifs to fit within each block.  For each new row, I shifted the design over one block so that the different designs cascade down the quilt.  For the appliqued circles, I did a swirl feather type design.  I love how the different quilting designs showcase each strip as an individual piece of the quilt.

Marilyn's Pink and Orange Quilt

This is Marilyn's quilt where I used an edge to edge for the center of the quilt, and then three separate border designs.  The center has a cool swirl pattern.  The first border has pebbles, the second is a simple wave and the outer most border is a single sided feather.  I kept the quilting simple and it really showcases the piecing.
