Marilyn's Garment Bag Fabric

This piece is going to be turned into a garment bag by the talented Marilyn, who also pieced the top.  I thought silver metallic thread would add just the right amount of pop!  An allover loopy pattern was used.  This will turn into a great end piece!

Betty's Baby Quilt

Another lucky little baby will be getting this quilt soon!  Top pieced by Betty.  I quilted a wavy ribbon candy all over pattern, inspired by a design I saw in Angela Walters' Shape by Shape book.  I think it turned out great!  The quilt even has a pieced back with the baby's name.  It's cute!

Joy's Baby Quilt

Another adorable quilt by Joy!  I did an all over loopy pattern for the background, swirl hooks in the flower petals, a linear spiral for the leaves, and I improv quilted a couple flowers where there were circles of appliqued circles.  I think it turned out so cute, the little baby will love it!!

Marilyn's Hexagon Quilt

The next quilt is pieced by Marilyn.  The colors are so fun.  I quilted it to highlight the hexagons in the design.  A simple linear design creates a cool effect for the black and white areas.  Wishbones fill up the rest of the hexagon areas.  For the finishing touch, I used a fancy feather design which pops with the lights yellow thread color against the white fabric.
