Betty's Moda Modern Blocks Quilt

This quilt was pieced by Betty and is the Moda Modern Building Blocks pattern.  In order to keep the quilt light, since it will be used as a summer quilt, I decided on a larger scale all over pattern that has great movement.  It's a square of wavy lines that's rotated 90 degrees every other block which creates a neat checkerboard effect.

  1. This is beautiful! I love the quilting. Is it a pantograph? Can you share the name of it? Thanks!

    1. Thank you! It's just freehand quilting. I chalked out 16" squares and then kept the "s" shape wave within the squares, rotating the design by 90 degrees.
