Quilts of Valor - #8

This was a very nice signature quilt that was filled with wonderful sentiments to whoever receives this quilt. I used a leaf motif between each of the signature blocks, loops in the white and red borders, and then arches in the blue border.

 

Tammy's Tshirt Quilt

Tammy contacted me to quilt her son's tshirt quilt.  This is an allover stipple.  I also made and attached the binding for her.  I think it turned out great!!

Lindsey's Baby Quilt

I received this very cute baby quilt from a client named Lindsey, and I had a great time quilting it!  It was an all over loopy pattern that I freehanded.  I also trimmed it and made and attached the binding for her as well.  Used a double layer of 80/20 batting and kept the quilting at a larger scale so it would be nice and fluffy for the lucky little one. Isn't this the cutest quilt??

Quilts of Valor - #7

Used a new technique for me for the boarder, inspired by a class that I took at a longarmers convention recently.  And I love it!  I also did stand alone star motifs and an all over swirl pattern.  You can really see the stars show up in the pictures of the back.
