This quilt was pieced by Betty and is the Moda Modern Building Blocks pattern. In order to keep the quilt light, since it will be used as a summer quilt, I decided on a larger scale all over pattern that has great movement. It's a square of wavy lines that's rotated 90 degrees every other block which creates a neat checkerboard effect.

Joy's Rainbow Chevron Quilt
Joy pieced this gorgeous quilt, it was so hard to give this one back! I used swirls in the white background areas, and for the chevrons, I alternated between a simple version of Nemeshing (a feather-type design) and a different feather design that I love as well. The outer border got an "S" design in a rainbow variegated thread. I absolutely loved how this one turned out!!

Truda's Cathedral Window Quilt
This gorgeous quilt was pieced by Truda, it's huge Cathedral Windows! Such fun fabrics. I quilted pearls in the white areas of the windows, wishbones in the center of the peels, a feather design in the center of each block, swirls in the outer sections, and I outlined the flowers in the border fabric. It's adorable! Quilter's Dream Wool batting was used and Glide thread.
