Truda's Improve HST Quilt
This quilt has several different modern elements to it so I decided to make the quilting very modern with a new twist on straight line quilting. I used an organic cross hatch pattern with randomly spaced straight and wavy lines. I love the texture that it created in this quilt, its so crinkly!!

Debbie's Wall Hanging
This is another awesome collage quilt that is made by cutting out particular designs in the fabric and then appliqueing them into a shape. This one is in the shape of a dress form. I used the technique of thread painting to enhance the great patterns of the fabric. To match the colors of the quilt, I ended up using 6 or 7 different colored threads. For the background fabric, I outlined the pattern of the fabric with a silver metallic thread to make the design pop without over powering the black and white of the fabric. Two layers of batting was used to highlight the design of this wall hanging.

Alice's Batik Quilt
This quilt made by Alice got an all over meandering feather. I love this all over, it's elegant but fun with the swirls and large plumes. This was a big quilt! Measured in at 96" x 106". Here are some pictures!

Betty's Modern Block of the Month Quilt
This quilt is a compilation of a year's worth of block of the month blocks by Betty. She used a common theme of orange, gray, and green. She really liked a modern block quilting pattern and I think it was a great choice. I used a bright orange thread that really popped against the gray background. And now pictures!!
